Welcome to Aplify — One Platform for Many Needs! These FAQs explain common features like Buy & Sell, e-Auctions, Carpool, Rentals, Jobs, Real Estate, and Self-Drive.
I. ACCOUNT & PROFILE MANAGEMENT
1. How do I create an account on Aplify?
Sign up using email, mobile number, or Google. Provide Full Name, Email (for OTP), Mobile (for OTP), and select your Community (Armed Forces or Others). You can modify name/community before KYC verification. Once verified, those fields are locked.
2. What is the “Community” feature?
Aplify has two communities: Armed Forces (serving/retired & families) and Others (general public). Both have equal access; the filter helps you find relevant listings quickly.
3. What is KYC verification and why is it important?
KYC improves authenticity. Upload one of the accepted documents (Aadhaar, Passport, ECHS Card, etc.). Armed Forces users should mask sensitive information. KYC status is retained securely for verification and compliance.
4. How long does KYC verification take?
Typically 24–48 hours. You will receive in-app and email updates once completed.
5. Can I change my details after KYC?
Contact details and profile picture can be updated anytime. Name and community cannot be changed post-verification to preserve authenticity.
6. How do I delete my Aplify account?
Go to Menu → Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent. If you need help, email info@aplify.in.
7. How can I contact Aplify?

II. AD POSTING & MANAGEMENT
1. How do I post an Ad?
Sign in → Tap “Post Ad” → Choose category & location → Add details & minimum 2 photos → Review → Post. Avoid stock/internet images; such ads may be rejected.
2. How many Ads can I post?
Unlimited ads are allowed during the free launch phase. Future premium options will be announced in advance.
3. How do I edit or delete my Ad?
Menu → My Ads → Edit/Delete. Edits allowed until ad expiry. Deleted ads cannot be restored.
4. How do I mark my item as sold?
Menu → My Ads → Sold Out → Confirm sale. This marks the ad completed.
5. Are all Ads verified by Aplify?
We moderate for quality and policy compliance, but we do not certify authenticity. Buyers should inspect items physically before payment.
III. BUYING & TRANSACTING SAFELY
1. Who are verified users?
Verified users have completed KYC and carry a “Verified” badge. Verification confirms document validity, not user credibility. Always verify products and meet in safe public places.
2. Can I transact with unverified users?
Yes, but verification is recommended for safety.
3. Should I make advance payments?
No — Aplify strongly advises against advance payments or clicking third-party links. Pay only after physical inspection.
4. What should I check before buying?
Confirm product authenticity, inspect in person, verify bills/warranties, and never share financial details.
5. Can users access each other’s personal data?
No — Aplify keeps user data private and only discloses it in response to lawful requests.
IV. e-AUCTIONS (BIDS)
1. What are Bids on Aplify?
e-Auctions allow sellers to host live bids for items like vehicles, property, and electronics. Bidding is real-time using numeric quotes.
2. Is there a limit on Bids?
No — create unlimited bids during the launch phase.
3. How do I create a Bid?
Post Ad → Create a Bid → Enter base price, start/end time → Upload photos → Post.
4. Can I cancel or edit a Bid?
Cancel or edit until it goes live. Once active, you can close it manually but cannot modify core details.
5. Are Bids binding?
Bids indicate intent. Final deals must be agreed offline and verified by both parties.
V. CARPOOL
1. What is the Carpool feature?
Carpool helps users share rides, reduce costs, and promote eco-friendly travel.
2. How do I create a Carpool?
Tap Carpool → Create Pool → Enter route, date/time, seats → Post.
3. How do I join a Carpool?
Search by route/date → Join Pool → Submit request → Wait for confirmation.
4. Can I book for others?
Yes — choose “For Others” and provide passenger details.
5. Is payment required before travel?
No. Any payment is settled directly between members after travel.
6. Safety measures for Carpool
- Prefer KYC-verified users
- Share live location with family/friends
- Avoid late-night rides with unknown users
- Ensure vehicle is roadworthy
VI. SAFETY & SUPPORT
1. How can I ensure safety while using Aplify?
Deal in person, avoid sharing OTPs/passwords, verify users, use in-app chat, and report suspicious activity to info@aplify.in.
2. How can I report a problem?
Use the “Report” option on any ad or email info@aplify.in with screenshots and details.
3. How do I stay updated about new features or changes?
We notify via email, app notifications, and WhatsApp (if opted in). You can unsubscribe anytime.
VII. MISCELLANEOUS
1. Are there any hidden charges?
No — current services are free. Future premium features will be optional and clearly priced.
2. Can Aplify modify its policies or terms?
Yes. Changes will be notified in-app and on the website before taking effect.
